Our Heritage

 The story of Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes began more than 46 years ago in 1964 with the opening of a facility at 20 Seventh Street West, which is now known as the West Branch.

 The Seventh Street facility was the first, and still remains today, the only funeral home designed and built specifically for the unique needs of funeral services. The comfortable, elegant interiors, which are continually updated, provide a peaceful, private and dignified environment.

 So rapid was their growth that Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes expanded to East Cornwall acquiring the former Bonneville Funeral Home at 614 First Street East. The building was completely renovated in 1969.

 The East Branch has since expanded beyond the original building, adding a large memorial chapel, a popular reception centre and expanded parking facilities to meet the specific needs of all the families served.
